The first release in a new series of separate CD versions from the completely limited production box set “YMO 1979 TRANS ATLANTIC TOUR LIVE ANTHOLOGY,” which captures the full scope of YMO’s 1979 overseas tour. YMO’s first overseas performances were as special guests for The Tubes at the Greek Theatre, an outdoor venue in Los Angeles, on August 2, 3, and 4, 1979. “YMO LIVE AT THE GREEK THEATRE 08/04/1979” contains all 7 songs from the final show on August 4. Under the supervision of Haruomi Hosono, world-class engineer Goh Hotoda mixed and mastered the recordings from the multi-track masters, and Shinya Matsushita of Piccolo Audio Works handled the disc cutting.
