Recorded live at Osaka Festival Hall on February 1, 1975, Agharta documents the daytime performance from Miles Davis’s legendary same-day Osaka concerts, with the evening set released separately as Pangaea. Backed by a powerful septet featuring Sonny Fortune and Pete Cosey, the album captures the raw intensity, psychedelic funk, and explosive improvisation of Miles’s electric period.

This Japan-exclusive audiophile edition faithfully recreates the original Japanese LP presentation, including the iconic obi strip and gatefold packaging. The striking cover artwork by Tadanori Yokoo is fully reproduced. Cut in Japan and pressed by Sony on 180g heavyweight vinyl, the release is supervised by jazz authorities Masato Okazaki and Koki Hanawa.
