The legendary anime “Captain Future” soundtrack is finally reissued on analog, long awaited by fans. The music is composed by Yuji Ohno, also known for his work on the anime “Lupin the Third”. In this work, he creates a one-of-a-kind galactic groove through an approach of “space x jazz x funk”. With tracks such as the intensely funky bass-slapped “Andromeda no Kanata ni”, the spacey and mellow Rhodes-driven “Oyasumi Future Men”, the fast-paced “Ijigen no Eden” featuring intertwining guitar cutting and brass sections, and the tight grooves performed by Galaxy, the masterpieces that colored that cosmic adventure tale are revived. A highly recommended release for fans of anime, jazz funk, rare groove, and synth sounds.
