Description

The Warmdrive Overdrive Pedal from Warm Audio has been painstakingly engineered to faithfully recreate the legendary amp-in-a-box tones of the vintage Hermida Zendrive pedal and the Dumble Overdrive Special amp that inspired it, a sound championed by numerous guitar players including SRV, Eric Clapton, Robben Ford, John Mayer, Santana, and Cory Wong. The pedal offers Volume, Gain, Tone, and Voice controls, with the interplay between the Tone and Voice controls allowing users to modify the frequency both before and after the clipping stage, providing a wide variety of tones, at times almost sounding like two guitars at once.

The Warmdrive has 4 control knobs: Volume, Tone, Gain, and Voice. Like the original, the Voice knob controls the frequencies being clipped by the op-amp, delivering tonal versatility beyond most guitar pedals. Experimenting with the Voice knob can dramatically alter the overdriven bass and treble tones, making the Warmdrive experience like owning a second amp.
