After looking back on his life with his previous album The Last Ship (2013), which was written for a Broadway musical set in his hometown, Sting opens what can be called Chapter Two of his musical career with this new release — a rock album fans have been waiting for.

This 10-track album showcases the breadth of Sting’s songwriting style, ranging from the intense opening track “Petrol Head,” which evokes imagery reminiscent of the film Mad Max 2, to the classic folk storytelling feel of “Pretty Young Soldier.”
