Masaru Yokoyama -Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans

To commemorate its 10th anniversary, an original soundtrack vinyl release is coming! Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans celebrates its 10th anniversary in October 2025, and to mark the occasion, a specially selected analog vinyl edition from the soundtrack will be released.

The music is composed by Masaru Yokoyama, renowned for his work on popular anime, TV dramas, and films. The LP jacket is scheduled to feature newly commissioned artwork by Yu Ito, the original character design artist. The vinyl itself will be pressed on colored vinyl.

With its blend of stomp rhythms, mariachi-like elements, orchestral arrangements, ethnic music, and electronic sounds, the musical “devices” that bring the world of Iron-Blooded Orphans to life have not faded with time and still sound fresh even a decade later. Moreover, the three-dimensional sound and warm tones unique to analog records—unattainable in digital formats—allow listeners to experience the series’ world more deeply.
