Experience a faithful recreation of the legendary 1176 Rev-D with the WA76-D from Warm Audio, a single-channel analog FET compressor/limiter. Sporting classic 76-style controls with modern enhancements like stereo linking, selectable input impedance, and wet/dry mix for parallel compression, the WA76-D is ideal for adding polish and dynamic control to vocals and instruments.

An external side-chain makes it easy to integrate external FX and processing into the compression signal chain, and the WA76-D includes a variable side-chain high-pass filter (30 to 300 Hz, 12 dB per octave) for refining the side-chain control. With selectable active or true bypass, you can run the unit as a line amplifier (active) or engage in easy A/B comparisons (true bypass). The WA76-D includes a real classic-style analog VU meter with adjustable settings (gain reduction, +8 or +4 dB output). You still get all the classic features you’d expect, including the all-buttons-in setting for experimental or hard-limiter tones. And with a universal internal power supply, the WA76-D will operate optimally in any electric environment.
