The Darkness — Justin Hawkins (vocals and guitar), Dan Hawkins (guitar), Frankie Poullain (bass), and Rufus “Tiger” Taylor (drums) — rose from Lowestoft to worldwide fame with their 5× Platinum debut Permission To Land, which featured iconic hits like “I Believe In A Thing Called Love” and became the most successful British rock album of the 21st century.
